St. Mary’s Snehalaya Opportunity School

St. Mary’s Snehalaya Opportunity School is an initiative of the St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral,Queen’s Road, Bangalore. The school had its informal beginnings in June 1998. Since the St. Mary’s Public School was already a well-known institution, it was decided to partly make use of its infrastructure for the good of children with special needs.

To empower special children by catering to their changing needs through a socially driven and sustainable approach.

MISSION

To provide affordable and quality care to children with special needs so as to empower them.

OBJECTIVES

The school primarily caters to children with mental retardation.It aims to train them in the areas of self-help,communication, socialization and pre-vocational skills taking into consideration their intellectual limitations. The aim is to empower them to the extent possible.

OUR TEAM

We have well qualified and experienced team to take care of our students for giving training and make them to lead a normal life. We ensure that all the students are benefited through our programmes.

Creative Learning Opportunity For Kids

Creative Learning Opportunity For Kids For the St. Mary’s Snehalaya children every day is a mix of learning and fun. The day is structured as they move from learning in various areas of self-help, communication, socialization, locomotion and pre- vocational skills to recreational activities. They are exposed to the world of yoga, dance, music, art, computers and games.
